Welcome to LinguaPet. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.
We use your data to provide and personalize the learning experience, track progress, send relevant notifications (if enabled), and improve our service.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g. Supabase for database and authentication, Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting) who help us operate the app, under strict confidentiality.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption and Row-Level Security to protect your data.
You can access, update, or delete your account at any time. To request data export or deletion, email us at linguapet.app@gmail.com. Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted: email address, display name, lesson progress, XP, streaks, pet state, onboarding answers, and usage data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.
LinguaPet is not directed at children under 13. Users under 13 must have verifiable parental consent before using the app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided data without consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email.
